As part of our sustainability strategy, one of Van Vliet Demolition Group's objectives is to reduce the companies CO2 emissions. Not only do we dismantle decommissioned factories and installations from CO2-emitting industries, such as the petrochemical industry, the oil and gas industry and the pharmaceutical industry. We also do this with the latest up-to-date models of excavators and high-tech equipment. The average recycling grade of our demolition projects is around 96% with a target of 98%!
We recently had our second equipment depot & workshop built. As part of our CO2 reduction plan, this was built with sustainability in mind and in accordance with the highest environmental standards. It has a “zero” CO2 footprint, using solar panels that feed heat- and cooling pumps. We even have our own water well, use excellent heat insulation and installed an onsite filter system for wastewater, no sewer is required.
